Emirates Group posts record half-year revenue of US $20.6 billion

The Emirates Group continues its climb, posting record half-year revenue of US $20.6 billion, up 4 per cent year-on-year. Profit hit US $2.5 billion — driven by strong passenger demand, expanding global routes and solid cargo volumes. Emirates says fuel costs eased slightly, while dnata’s ground-handling and catering operations saw double-digit growth. The group now employs more than 115,000 people worldwide.
